This is from Boomer and thanks very much.  It's on this page so that I can see what I'm doing as I do it.

I think you made a typo on your URL there Alan and I guess you were meaning careworld.info

A multiple page static website on any platform is going to be a mission to edit and maintain. The only way really to display multiple pages is in some sort of a list format like a drop down menu for example and I think Yola have done an excellent job with their drag and drop page manager. I can't think of a way to improve on it - do you have any ideas?

'Fraid I canna cope with the concept of me working out how to do it, ergo few ideas will ensue..

I feel your pain though 'cause once my Yola site reached 200 pages I realized I had to look at other avenues. I had to learn a server side language and how to use databases which set me back a bit, but I knew I had to make the switch going forward. Nothing against Yola (I use the Sitebuilder often), but that particular website

We have something else in common - e.g. here.  That site costs me £78 pa compared with 25 Yola Silver sites c same £.

just outgrew the platform. I now have 400 pages (not even half way there) that I deliver on 3 template pages from a database.

I realize that my story has nothing to do with your issue and you may not even be able to apply it to your site and what the hell, you don't want to go learn a new programming language to achieve it anyway, but I just thought I'd mention that sometimes you need the right tool for the right job.

Now, another problem that comes to mind is how to display all your pages. Below is one of Yola's tutorials for creating menus:

We do not offer an integrated drop-down menu set-up. However, we do offer two options that you could use for a second-level set-up.

Option 1: Flyover Menu
This feature can be used to display second-level menu items vertically in a flyover format. This is available only on Free Styles. To see an example of this, please see: Try our new Flyover Menu.

I have plenty of Free Style Yolas but will press on with Silver.

Option 2: Submenu
This feature displays a horizontal second-level menu set-up. This is available only on Premium Styles which are exclusive to our Yola Silver and Yola Gold packages. For more information, please see: Creating Submenus.

I reckon this what I'm doing and it's the manipulation of the slider bar which is the prob.

If these options do not suit your needs, it is possible to add a drop-down menu to the body region of your page using custom HTML.

Here is a link to an article that tells you how to do it: http://personal-computer-tutor.com/dropdownlist.htm

Who is Linda?  All useful stuff for those who are of the standard to implement it.  I'll have a go.

To implement this in Yola you would:

Drag and drop an HTML Widget onto your page.
Paste the code generated from the above link into the HTML Editor.
Edit the code to replace their examples with the items you want on your list - you need to edit the URLs and the display text.
If the items on the list are links to other websites, paste the URLs for each website into the example code. If the items on the list are pages in your site, you need to replace the URLs in the example code with the URLs of your pages. The easiest way to get the URLs is to publish your site and copy them from your browser window. Paste them into the code. Click on "Save" and republish your site.

See my first attempt here.    Where the URL should be, it just says URL   ????
